The minimal design is both beautiful and functional.  Each spreader is hand carved and tapers from handle to tip, making it ideal for spreading butters or cutting soft cheeses.  Each spreader is hand carved, while the handle and blade is smooth, the base of each handle is lightly faceted - marks of the knife that carved it.  Choose from Big Leaf Maple or Oregon Black Walnut - both sourced locally from the Willamette Valley.  Each knife is finished with a food safe kiln cured tung oil.

Use & Care
Hand wash only.  Refresh with Mineral Oil as needed.

Each Spreader is designed and hand carved by Hew founder, Sterling Collins in Portland, Oregon.  We make everything to order, please allow 3-4 weeks for crafting and processing.
