Traditional Japanese Toolbox
Traditional Japanese Toolbox
Students will walk away with a wonderful traditional Japanese toolbox - suited for your woodworking tools, art supplies, keepsakes, etc. These toolboxes are simple to construct, utilizing simple joinery methods and reinforced with cut nails. The toolbox features a locking, sliding/removable lid to house its contents. Students can later outfit the interior of their toolboxes to fit their specific needs. These toolboxes handle use and abuse - ours have formed a wonderful patina over the years.
Students will use both hand tools and limited power tools for construction of this project, making this workshop great for those new to woodworking or for those just in need of a toolbox!
No experience is required. All materials will be provided. Workshop is limited to six spots.
